5 STYLING SECRETS YOU MUST KNOW
Styling yourself can be tricky. Whether you're a man or a woman, you'll most likely focus on your 'faults'. Here's a little fashion advice that never fails when I can't decided if I should buy something or what I should wear.

1
Blue and Green should never be seen without anything in-between
This is a piece of advice I learnt from my mother. It's an old saying from years and years ago that basically explains the limitations of the colour wheel. Blue and Green are too close on the colour wheel to be fitting for a pairing. However, the 'in-between' part of the rhyme states the fact that you can always just split the colours up. Of course, this doesn't just apply to the use of accessories! You can choose to wear prints that clearly create a divide between both colours. When I was younger I usually paired my Blue denim shorts with my favourite Green top by wearing my Black or Tan chunky belt around my hips - remember that was back in the 00's. Not recommended as a styling tip right now..
2
Less is more
From the great words of Gabrielle 'Coco' Chanel "Simplicity is the keynote to true elegance". Fashion trends can often get people confused about what to pair and what not to wear. Forget it. Forget all that you know about trends, what others are wearing, what events are lined up for your day, EVERYTHING. Just literally pick out one or two items of clothing that create an outfit, whether they're the same colour or not, wear them. Simple outfits allow others to focus on you as a person. They also allow you to have more freedom in other areas of styling such as hair and make up.
3
Gold, Rose or Silver
You should always know what kind of jewellery you like the most. Personally, I prefer wearing Silver jewellery as I think it represents elegance and a subtle something extra to all tones. However, I do own gold and Rose Gold jewellery. The key to knowing what to wear is by taking in your surroundings for inspiration. If you're choosing to wear warm tones them where a type of Gold jewellery to match. On the other hand, if you're wearing cooler tones then select some of your Silver jewellery to pair with your outfit.
If you think that you're confident enough to mix tones in jewellery then the best thing to do is to compare your choses with the mood or weather of the day. It sounds crazy but this always works! For example, if you have chosen to wear autumn colours (e.g. browns, purples, reds) but you want to wear your favourite Silver necklace, look outside and compare tones. Silver is a cold tone which can be paired with those chilly Autumn afternoons. Just remember, jewellery should be worn with confidence so think about what sort of statement you're making by wearing each piece.
4
If you wear double denim then choose two tones
Believe it or not, I really admire people who can pull off double denim. At first I thought this trend was hopeless and would fade eventually but it seems that everybody is giving it a go! If you would like to pair denim in your outfit but you're not sure how, choose two completely different neutral tones. When I want to wear double denim I usually pair my White denim jeans with my Sky Blue Skirt. If I can do it, so can you!
5
Confidence is the best accessory
Whenever I have to introduce myself or start a new job in fashion, I always try my hardest to speak and walk with confidence. It has been proven that the more confident a person is, the more attractive they become. I hardly ever choose style over comfort. If you're comfortable in what you wear then it opens the opportunity for you be feel more confident. If people see you as a confident person then they most likely won't even notice what you're wearing in the first place!
